Originally a Staff Software Engineer in AdTech and FinTech, Arjuna Kankipati has solved problems at scale using technlogy.

Now he solves a different set of problems using different tools - the challenge of crafting a compelling narrative to the heartbeat of a race. Starting in the simracing industry in 2020, he developed an award-winning reputation - earning the 2021 & 2023 VCO SIMMY Award for Best Commentary - while working with manufacturers like BMW, Ferrari and Porsche and series including IMSA, IndyCar and the World of Outlaws.

In 2025, Arjuna transitioned into the real world, appearning on Cable TV as Host and Play-by-Play Commentator for the Prodigy Racing League on RACER Network. He also began roaming pitlanes on the airwaves of IMSA Radio for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Pilot Challenge. Additional credits include IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge, Mustang Challenge USA and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.

Arjuna continues to serve as Series Director for the IMSA Esports Global Championship, a role he has operated in since the series’ founding in 2022, adding his unique value across of the broadcast team, series managament & race stewarding.
